most of the places I worked didn't have computers yet. we drew by hand.
I did work at a place that had CAD/CAM
I had no training with that system so I didn't do very well. I still had the option of drawing by hand there, though.
If you ever get hold of a Drott manual with the exploded picture of the Feller Buncher in it. I drew that by hand.

Our Packers just won a squeaker . O.T.

Very interesting that we have 2 drafting pro's here. I was a Manufacturing Engineering - military aircraft. I remember when we first began using computers.... I took one CADAM and one NCAD class -- can't say I was very good at it.

It, like most other things, takes a LOT of practice.
I was very lucky to be paid to learn.

had a pleasant surprise this morning already.
went to make a pot o' coffee and the GS already had it made.

those patent drawings are not mine, but they are similar. I doubt if mine even exists anymore. Drott quit production many years ago. and so did the tech illus. company that I worked for.
I imagine my drawing is in a parts manual somewhere on someones dusty shelf ..

I might get the siding on the last wall today.
depends on how hot it gets mid-day.

Aart, Dr Pol has a TV show about his vet clinic. I watch it a lot. he seems to be a nice guy.. I never had the urge to hug our vet like they do to Dr Pol's staff..

Think I looked into it in the past, and briefly again yesterday, didn't look promising.

OK . i bit the bullet and worked til almost noon, heat or not. I got the wall all set to stand up.. I think there will be enough people here later this afternoon to help.
it will take only 10 minutes or so.

I put just the 3 bottom courses of vinyl siding on. I can finish the rest after the roof is on..

we put new windows in all 3 bedrooms. took the window air conditioners out.
don't want to put them back in. after all.
we won't need AC anymore this summer.
WRONG !! we have been using the AC in the living area to help cool the bedrooms with the help of fans.

looking into the ductless kind of AC.
we do not have any furnace or ductwork.

Wait, what do you do for Heat ?
I kind of don't mind the window a/c's . I leave them in till mid to late Oct. Some times we get weird weather and it is nice to use them to get the humidity out.

We are clearing the land where the Contractor is building my goat shed. Man i am tired! Husband did the heavy stuff with the chain saw. Going to burn a small debris pile tonight, can't burn the big one until we clean and soak down all around it. Don't want the woods catching fire. Going out again after supper. Supposedly they are going to start the build tomorrow!
