I have been struggling with this roof, it just will not support me to screw the middle of the panels together. So what i am going to do is tie ropes to one side, then lower it down on the other side enough for me to reach it, then pull it back up.
I also should have finished the wire on the ends before putting the roof on, as well as that last tarp. Live and learn. I did attach the bottom of the hardware cloth on the front above where the door will be. It is not pictured in today's photos because it was the last thing i did before i went in for Chinese food i made for supper. Turned out yummy, DH enjoyed it too.

Ahh I see. Wasn't thinking about that. I have not used those panels .. yet. I was thinking they were different
Yeah, it seemed like a good solution but it has to be done from above. So i will tie ropes on it and lower it down on the other side, attach it, then haul it back up.

good morning, 30F here right now.
not expected to get up to 40F today.

Art, I didn't mean to come off as rude as it did. sometimes I am too blunt. years of working on construction made me that way.
sometimes you don't have time to sugar coat what you need to say.

I don't understand the rope technique, but I hope it works for you..

going in with Annie to talk to her Dr.. today.
have to set up an appt for a procedure.

Am well versed and totally fluent in 'blunt' ...haha... doesn't bother me one bit,
but thanks.
I was trying to be diplomatic, I know you're set in your ways, instead of saying:
Well, that's stupid not to c'sink, especially in hardwood, whaddya expect?! :D
Now that was just meant a bantering jab, all in good fun.
Please don't take offense.

No offense taken.

when I am doing finish type work, I will countersink. when using swamp hickory
(bitternut) you have to countersink.

lots of my building I use screws in place of nails. then it is usually pine. no countersinking needed.

I take the easy route when I can.

You all don't want to see how I make things. Plans? Measure ? I have an eyeball, works well.... some times ;)

My pop door I had to cut into the Rubbermaid shed. I did measure and tried to cut straight. Wasn't working well, but the job is good enough with wood blocks around the opening.

IF I ever get to buy a real farm and build a better coop it will be different.... maybe not countersinking all the time though :) :) :)
