good morning,

Cappy , if you put the rabbit hutch into the goat shed, how are you going to pour the cement ?

I always enjoyed making material lists.
by the time I thought the list through, I didn't need to make drawings.

Art, I have been trying to come up with a comeback for your statement, but I have nothing ..
However, I did edit the miss steak.

today , if things go right, I will glue and clamp the butcher board. I think I need to make a couple more strips to get my width. I didn't have a ruler handy, so I guessed at the length..
Oh well, if i is wrong, somebody will be getting a cutting board for Christmas..

Is there a problem with concrete? Some toxic fumes or something ? The concrete is just going into the holes where the big uprights are. Shouldn't bother the bunnies.

I started painting the inside of the goat shed today. It is going to look great! Decided to paint before i put the rabbits in there. Their condo just needs the legs put on and the roof. And i need to make a cuddle box for the 2 young sisters. Dividers and doors done, as well as latches.

Ooooh , I thought you were going to pour a floor. then the hutch would be in the way..
Carry on..

I got the cutting board blued up, dried, and ran it through planer. it is about
20 thousandths" high on one corner.
I can live with that, but I will think on it tonight. there is a way to get it closer.
I can screw sacrificial boards onto two opposite sides and use them like runners.

I said that I guessed at the lengths of the boards that I glued up.
the shortest one was 1/4" too long. just enough material to trim off when I squared up the cutting board.

It feels like Miller Time.

Going out to the workshop shortly to work on a bulb powered heating unit to keep my water from freezing for the chickens. There are a lot of days left before spring.

So this is what i came up with.

I am thinking i will put metal flashing over top.
