Helpful hints for building coops

My luck is running high,
I just started cleaning the fish when my brother walked in. He fishes a lot and can clean a fish in no time.
He took one look at what I was doing and said , you are doing that wrong.
So I handed him the knife and sat and watched the pro do it.. It cost me just one bottle of beer... LOL

the fish was 35 inches long and weighed 11 pounds.. they always look bigger before you measure and weigh them..
kind of hard to see the fish laying on newspapers..

they can be.
brother knows how to filet them out.
might get a couple , but I don't mind.

I make a hash out of the pike.
I fry it with lots of onion and some garlic. I break it up as it cooks and pick out the bones as I see them,
when I am done, 99% of the bones are picked out and the hash is all ready to make sandwiches out of..
I use it like I would canned tuna..
it is delicious even when cold.

I was watching the Vikings lose. came down here when the score was 31-7.

Cappy, do you have templates for your lettering ? it is awesome neat..

I looked up saw sleds again. now I am thinking of making a new one. or two ..
I think vinyl tracks would be the way to go.. Metal would be nice, too, if you could find the exact dimensions needed without having to tweak them too much.

I have stencils i use or sometimes i just freehand it.

What a beautiful predator! I caught one about that size when a was maybe 9 years old trolling with a frog for bait. Pissed off Grandma, she was jealous! That picture is down in FL, hope Mom doesn't throw it out.

Ha!! We used to snag little bluegills off the dock then toss them back out still hooked as pike bait.

Normally we use this size for bait, but I was hungry for fish..

Going to go buy more rabbits tomorrow. She wanted to sell me 20 but that's not happening. Maybe 3 or 4. Time to build more cages!

Cappy, make a road trip to Wisc and I will give you two 4' x 11' raised cages.
bring a trailer big enough for them.

I can fore see you lining the inside walls of the goat shed with cages..

I poked around in the garage today. I found that 3rd jointer. It is just a hobby sized one.
in my rummaging around I found a table belt sander with a disc sander. DD found it at a rummage sale a couple of years ago. I never really looked at it really close. It seems to be all there, just needs some cleaning up and sanding belt and sanding disc paper. there is a motor on it. IDK if it runs..
I am afraid to ask Annie if I can bring it into the house to work on it. IDK where her breaking point is. LOL
I wish it was warmer outside..
