Yikes!!
Is your land being affected?
Yeah, our property is on a peninsula directly on the horseshoe bend of the river. All of these pictures were taken on our land. We had to tie up the boat ramp , the bridge hubby made , the wooden steps and of course the canoe is lashed to a tree. The water started to recede BUT, its supposed to rain again tonight. Poor wild geese have had their nests washed away twice from our half of the island!

Your house and buildings and coops are not flooded?

not good Cappy,
we are an a side hill. the water would have to rise about 50 feet.
Our river did run over the bridge a few times.

Once, the neighbor kids were riding their speed boat all around their house.

today Annie stopped at a rummabe sale on her way home from work.
She bought a $14.oo tool box with tools for me.
I will line up the tools after I get my camera charged. I did manage to get one picture.

ever see one of these ? it is a first for me
Made by the Diamond Horseshoe Co of
Duluth Minn. dropped forged tool steel.
10" and 8" combo crescent wrench.
I am going to look that company up on the internet.

ETA: I looked it up.
It was the Diamond Calk Horseshoe company.

I used my table saw today for the first time! I am loving it!
Building a triple compartment brooder. I will need it sooner or later. I have quail, guinea and chicken eggs in 3 bators right now. 20180427_173613.jpg
You can see the work table i made from plywood and saw horses. Painted it the same color as the brooder. I got the brooder frame done today, and plywood cut for the back and ends.

I will take a picture of the rest of the things later on.

I think she got a good bang for her buck..

It works perfectly..

Nice assortment!
I have a torpedo level just like that, was my Dads.
Are the wire cutters sharp?
That double ended crescent wrench cracks me up, so silly!

You know Art? I never thought to check the side cutter.. I will do that later , after I get done playing on the computer

there are wrenches like that on Ebay.
they go for $38.oo to $48.oo ..
those are from a different company, though..
mine was made by:
Diamond Horseshoe cog Co. Duluth Minn
some time between 1926 and 1981..

interesting tool , eh ?

they sold them for slightly less than it would cost to buy two individual wrenches.. the overall length is the length of the larger wrench ..
