Helpful hints for building coops

Hi Jim, i seem to remember this build from when you fixed it up. I think the pics are on this thread somewheres, along with some pictures of the lean-to i built up against the barn. Always feels good to fix things up.

I thought I sent those pictures once.
but a refresher course doesn't hurt..
some of the new people might not have seen them, and I have no plans to build any thing soon..

a cold front just came through. had a little rain. now it is just cloudy , wet and cooler
I might try to sneak between the rain drops and layer some branches..
I have two nice ones picked out on the mulberry tree..
Art , that cold front should be hitting you soon..

It seems a bit cooler here today. I finished the rabbit duplex, except putting on a roof, feeder, and waterer. So glad to finish that.

I have decided that my next project will be smallish breeding/growout pens. I have so many different types of chickens/turkeys/ducks I want to play with that I Need more pens.... and they do not have to be Huge.

I lived in Colorado Springs for about a year.
I was in the army, attached to ENT AFB ..
from there I went to Germany for two years.
raining here most of the afternoon. on and off.. I was out feeding the dog when it came on..

Colorado! Not likely. If i go anywhere it would be to FL to see my kids and grands. I have no one to watch the critters. But if you come by, i can give you some pointers and you can have a look at all the different cages i built.

I do get to go to FL in September but it is for a cub cadet convention not for pleasure..... gotta love life I definitely feel the not having anyone to watch critters, I have a friend lined up to watch my kids and critters for the 3 days we will be gone but it's not easy to get someone reliable

I had a lot of animals when i lived in TN. I was going on vacation and had one person watching and caring for the goats, and one for the rest of the animals. The guy that was doing the goats was feeding them but not giving them water! Luckily the other person noticed. And this guy had goats and cows himself, stupid dork!

Well in this case my girls will be doing the chores the friend is only going to be here to make sure they get on the bus, get fed and that nothing gets destroyed..... lol
I do find it hard to ask someone to do my chores, even for a few days. I guess I know that they will not do them the way I would.

Yeah, it is not easy to get good help. That is why i am here and hubby is on vacation!
