I think that is why he couldn't get anyone else

Did they finish the other stuff they started last year?
They finished the barn. They finished the electrical. They did not finish the gutters or snow rails or soffits. I am really tired of it all. Why start a new project when you are not done the others?

if you waited for someone else to respond, you probably would still get it done sooner..
I took our bathtub out and put in a 5ft wide shower.. love it..

I hate my shower. Not enough pressure, and just barely hot enough with it all the way to hot. And in a tub you can soak.
There is a shower downstairs. Hubby is having the water heater moved so we can have a full sized dryer if the other one dies.

the lack of hot water and pressure is not the fault of the shower head. unless it happens to be partially plugged up..
I took out my 20/40 pressure control and put in a 30/50 . you might have to calibrate your pressure tank to the pressure valve.. I had to recalibrate mine when I went to 30/50.
very easy to do..
I do not like lying in my own dirty water..
if you like to keep the water warm in the tub, stuff it with insulation underneath wherever there is air space..
I would even recommend using a few cans of the spray foam insulation.. it works on kitchen sinks, too..

well, today I have my vinyard cap on.
I took the back blade off of Ollie and put the tool bar on with just a couple of teeth on it.
went down and extended the grape row in prep for when I transplant some roots.
I am going to push my luck a bit and plant some this fall, if they don't take, I have some in reserve for spring planting.

the tool bar is the frame of a 3 point hitch cultivator. .
I change the teeth around and arrange them as needed. leave some off or put them all on in various positions.
I can make a one row cultivator, or a two row cultivator. if I space the teethe evenly, it is a spring tooth drag. ( i use the spring tooth drag set up to work up the ground for my garden) I don't have to use a plow , since there is no sod to contend with.
then I have a set of two 16" Dia discs. I can put those on and hill my potatoes with them.

A year ago I took every nut and bolt off of the tool bar and got all of them lubricated and loosened up. then I bought all new matching 3/8" nuts and bolts for the mounting bolts.
now I have to use only the same two wrenches when I want to jockey things around
a socket or box wrench and my impact driver makes the job very easy and quick..

In all of my years in construction, I fell a few times. I never did learn how to bounce.
the last time I fell it was -20F . I just turned around and stepped off the end of the scaffold.
that was the last time I worked outside in cold temps..

the two angle steel pieces with the holes in
them are the tool bars.
it takes 3 bolts to hold each spring tooth on

this shows a few of the spring teeth mounted in a single row cultivation formation. the rear two teeth are 8 inches apart.. overall width is about 16 inches.
the holes in the steel angle bars are spaced @2 inches apart all across the angles..
it was raining today when I took these pictures..
I used this set up to pulverize the sod to make the grape row about 39 feet longer
and about 2 feet wide..

Interesting, i was chasing a chicken and found some metal contraption imbedded in the dirt. I need to drag it out of there.
