I put the window pane on the inside of the coop door, so now i can open the door all the way. Also put a nest box on the floor for the polish hen that has been laying in the corner. Hopefully she uses it.
And i put 2 pieces of plywood on the ends of one of the bunny hutches to block the wind. Cut and painted 2 more pieces for another hutch. Slowly getting done.

careful,,cappy, your might work yourself out of projects..
41F and drizzle here today.. no wind. I think I will go out and see what I can accomplish on the moped..

No end of projects here. Today i am cutting wood for a work table. Going to build it in the barn if i can get the stuff out of the way.
Feeling much better and its 65° , sunny and windy. Really nice day!

I was working on the bench but it started to rain. Was getting tired any way so i went inside.

One of my benches for sitting at the picnic area.

good morning, 4:3o . can't sleep.
yesterday I finally got at the moped. took the carburetor out. not so easy like they show on you tube.. they are working with new machines.
this carb hasn't been off since 2011..
anyway, I tooke it apart as far as I could.
the float bowl is sealed. I am going to assume it is clean in there. I squirted carb cleaner into every port . hoping there are no clogged jets. I did start up the motor a couple of times using starting fluid.
will drain the gas, it smells bad.
these motors use 90 plus, octane..
more expensive, but they get 90 mpg.
I use non ethynal in all my yard work machines..
I am going to discard the cheap hose clamps they had on the carb inlets. I have some real ones.

Hi Jim, did you try liquid wrench? Hubby used it to free up the old sewing machine i got.

plenty of rain here, too.
yesterday I told Annie that we had so much rain that there was a sea gull in the parking lot at the supermarket. we are 100 miles from lake Michigan..

the bolts are not rusted on.

when they put the float bowl on, they purposely break off the heads of the bolts.
so then the only way to back out the bolt is to drill a hole in them and use an easy out.
they are small screws..
i am guessing a #10..
for now I am just going to put things back together and hope for the best.
if push comes to shove, I can buy a complete new carb for under $25.oo..
