I didn't know there was a carving contest, not that I would have entered..
congrats on second place. that is just as good as first place, considering that it is just someone's opinion what is best..
I have a vacuum leak in the line. so the scooter starts hard. yesterday I went shopping for some tighter tubing clamps. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but I did find two good candidates. I bought one of each for comparison..
another cold day here,
the deer hunters (bro and sons) have not bagged anything , yet.. they tend to be a bit too selective, IMHO..
all 3 of his sons are high school teachers so it was back to work for mon, tue and wed....
....jiminwisc....
ETA: I braved the cold and got the scooter started. fixed the vacuum leak , was just a loose tubing.
got the scooter to start without using starting fluid and spent some time fiddling with the carburetor.. I have it to where I want it now. starts right up and idles right off the bat. now I have to let the motor get cold to see if it will start that good when it is cold.
my tractor is frozen . there is moisture in the transmission and it is frozen. can't shift it. will have to put an electric heater under a tarp to warm it up.. this happens every winter.. luckily there is no snow to push around , yet..
