No, the fabric is printed with the picture. I just make the three layers and quilt them together, then bind it with fabric.

Thanks, i am going to use a fabric that looks like boards for the binding around the edge.

Yes but with a good eye and straight seem it makes it easier to make pretty quilts and/or other things..... my grandmother taught me to quilt. Anymore if I get ambitious it needs to be a one day project so a pretty piece of material front and back makes it a quick quilt.... before I loose my focus
