Damn, that went so smoothly that I'm a little worried!
(glances over shoulder looking for Murphy)

Ledger board worked a treat, had to reposition it once, and think I'll just leave it up for extra support and perfect positioning next summers install.

It ain't pretty, but the efficiency upgrade is beautiful!

Good job, but I would have to paint it.

I am sort of the same way. I paint only if I think it is absolutely necessary.
a couple of weeks ago I bought a used Brinley 42" lawn sweeper. tried it out a couple of times;
was not duly impressed.
Yesterday I decided to see if I could make it work. Nope.. so I dragged it up to the garage and tipped it over. spun the drive wheels. one spun but did not spin the brushes.. ahah!! Pinion gear problem. OK
that is fixable. so I took off that wheel. spun the pinion gear. then I noticed it was not like all the pinion gears I read about on youtube. It has a shear pin . Had I known that I would not have had to take the wheel off..
so today I am off to get a shear pin. it is just an 1/8" bolt with a nut.

Feeder with feed in it.

good evening,(almost)
I was going to weed corn today, but sitting in 82F is not my idea of fun.
just before dark I am going to water the tomatoes.
I am thinking of cloning a couple of tomatoes and putting them into pots.
then this fall I can bring them into the sun porch and see if I can get some late tomatoes.
