I was exposed at church. I'm one of the volunteers and one of the staff members DH and I interacted with closely found out that he was infected on Monday afternoon.

3 out of 4 household members have scratchy throats at this point.

One of our friendly neighbors had to have open chest surgery to repair his aorta. Yesterday we got a message that he has suffered a stroke.
My wonderful husband did a nice thing for me and put the roof on the coop he hates.

*Maybe* not the best idea for the use of our COVID quarantine time when we're pretty sure we've actually got it based on our symptoms. But since we both are so little impaired that we'd have gone to work with these symptoms if we hadn't known we'd been exposed we decided that a warm day after 5 dry days was a good time to investigate the collapsed/disassembled building in the woods on our property.

We have concluded that it was once a barn and believe that while the metal roofing is not salvageable as roofing the wood will become our new chicken coop.

Today I built the door frame for the new coop. And put a solid floor in one of my brooders. It was very nice today, in the 50s!

I feel pretty decent, just slightly tight in the chest and unable to taste much more than to be able to tell the difference between coffee and water.

We got the 15yo tested because he's coughing, has a sore throat, and is generally ill.

Today I put together the frame for the door itself for the new coop. Hubby put more support under the coop. Also cut plywood and painted it.
