OK , I'll quit whining that it hasn't been above 20 for at least a week.
It's gotten up to 25 here today! GASP! Funny, it didn't feel that warm...

I was putting a bowl of snow in the coop for the chickens so they could have a choice about going out into the run for water. The first three days, they ate a lot of it. Now they don't touch it.

It did here too......felt better than the 15 it was this morning.

Mine have warm water in the coop, but go outside and eat snow.

And our weather sucks.... freezing rain and ice on everything. At least 3 trees down so far that I know of.

I'm not getting the bitter cold that some parts of the USA are suffering this week, but I'm getting cold rain instead. Barely above freezing and raining constantly for 3 days. Then it will warm up a bit and continue to rain.

My chickens are complaining, but foraging where I gave them access to fresh ground by morphing the pen.

Love that Premier 1 electric poultry netting!

people up here are still learning how to drive on slippery roads. Yesterday we had just about one inch of light fluffy snow. GS said he saw three slide offs on his way home from work.
You know you are from Wisconsin when you do a 360 and then continue on to the cafe for coffee..
.......jiminwisc.....
When we lived in Nova Scotia, I did a 360° with our big cargo van! That was scary!
Still no power. The chicks are going to think I am their momma, they are inside my shirt in a bag I made from a dish towel. It's hard to sleep like that.
