@jvls1942, that's a really good point. I know this bunny poop is ok, though.
I think you would have to worry more about manure from animals that eat hay as a major part of their diet.
believe it or not, I got frostbite on three fingers yesterday. they hurt like blazes .
I had wet hands and I went to get some ice cubes from the fridge. they stuck to my finger tips so hard that I had to run the faucet to make them let go.
they only itch right now.

I put one of the T posts together today.
It did not go well. Took forever. I have to come up with a plan B. I definitely will switch to U posts from now on.
DD brought me a compost bin. The barrel tumbles end for end. I do not like it.
It is hard to turn. I am going to sell it.
she also brought me a used garden wagon. four tires and a trailer hitch. It is about six feet long and thirty inches wide.
no sides on it, just a flat bed. It pulls super easy. I might be able to get some use out of it. If not.,, I will sell it.

Today I went to plan B and put a
T post together. It went way much better. I have the first grape vine tied up to it. However, from now on I am going to use U posts. Only seven more to do.
going to fire up the grill for the first time this summer. I am going to use all apple wood.
enjoy the day.

Let me tell you, apple wood is HOT
I didn't add any char coal.
I did only brats. I didn't let the wood burn down enough . the drippings from the brats kept catching on fire
Can we say, "well done brats" boys and girls ? lolol
I went to Menard's and bought four U posts and eight eye bolts.
the rebar fits perfectly through the eye. I will take a picture of plan C.
I am using some rebar that I have on hand. It is sixty four inches long.
Makes for kind of a short arm , but I can live with it for the time being.

I got a little storage unit for some of my ceramic stuff, and a very large tray table to put my ceramic stuff on. I love it!
Our Shepherd was outside barking, and sounded serious about it. We went out to see what was going on. There, on the steps, was a copperhead snake! She seemed to know it was dangerous, as she was not trying to kill it. It had apparently eaten a big toad we usually have on the porch, who ate a lot of bugs attracted by the night light. Better than killing chickens or eating eggs.

WoW, we have snakes , but nothing poisonous. I don't mind snakes as long as I know where it is. The longest pine snake I ever saw was longer than my truck is wide by a foot. It crawled under my truck.
today I am going to spread some composted cow compost . Rhubarb and grapes.
Yesterday I put a U post by four different grape shoots. as it turned out , they ended up in a straight line. that surprised me.
these plan C U posts are going to work out great. I think I will patent the idea.
Cappy, are you going to have to build a shed for your ceramics ?

So, I found out yesterday that my brother-in-law has decided not have any roosters. That means I'm going to have to sell Ludwig, the Black Langshan, in order to focus on my Blue Australorps.

But I'm still going to have to figure out how to divide the coop so that I can separate out the pure Australorp group from the mixed layers.

cages for the breeders.
Or, if you have just one breed of rooster, no need to separate. If you can tell the hens' eggs apart. just save the Australorp eggs..
