we work 2 12 hr days then 2 12hr nights (then 4 days off) at the pulp mill, and it is a good schedule but the nights get tougher as you age.

Switching back and forth can do ya in no matter your age.

Aart, you got that right. I knew a lot of guys who worked
at the paper mills around here. they had to switch once a week
and they complained about it.. I never had a switch shift job.
scotty, are you stockpiling logs ? I would be. lol
I watched a guy convert a regular chain to a ripping chain.
all he lost was the original angle. saved a lot of money by
not buying a ripping chain. I don't know if they even sell
ripping chains locally..
I talked to a friend today. she said her husband took his
logs to a sawmil just five miles away from my house. I knew
it is there, but I didn't know they did small loads.
have to check it out.
I built a light post and beam picnic shelter for my mom.
that was a fun project. had lots of large family picnics there.

I painted the second coat on the floor boards today. If they dry, i may be able to finish the floor tomorrow. Then on to the roof.

Well i ran out of time to do stuff around the farm. Had pottery classes, and went to Goodwill and Lowes. I was working on my dragon at class, and put handles on the two mugs i made last time.
