I see ads for them on TV all the time. Is it the deal they say it is?

We have Verizon. We switched to AT&T for a couple years, then switched back. We have 30 gig high speed, then it switches to a crawl. 2 phones, plus 2 jet packs for internet. $188/month. We run out of high speed data just about every month; I use my phone's hot spot at times though I don't do internet on it, but DH uses his phone for facebook, etc.

IF we could be sure that we'd get a good enough signal (even Verizon can be spotty out here), I would LOVE to switch to something better priced.

I have had Consumer Cellular service for about 10 years. I have NO complaints.

Actually, he cooks the meals and buys groceries. I never have been big on cleaning. Why start now?

No, but I read Peg Bracken's I Hate to Housekeep Book, which was funny yet informative.

I also love her I Hate to Cook Book. I've not read the other book.

I enjoy Erma Bombeck's writings, but in smaller doses. There's a more serious quote from her that I cannot find. It went something like this:

"When my children grow up will they remember the woodwork that was free of fingerprints, or the cookies I'd baked, hot out of the oven, when they got home from school?"
