Yes!! That was my point!! They DID hatch, just fine!! (should I have put that in the first post?)

Seriously... I know I was a newbie at one point, and gave myself a heart-attack more than once while incubating, but after you have hatched about 10,000 chicks, you get over it.

You are right about that one. The only thing I still fret about is power outages. I forget all the time to add water.

Meh... I worry more about brooder lamps going out than I do incubators getting cold. But that's one reason I don't hatch in the winter.
