well I checked with a different thermometer it was correct , however I used a pharmacy old one and it was too low and I thought that was broken .out of 4 eggs 3 are like that 1 seems to be ok . don't know really

What kind of incubator do you have? Is it a little giant? I'm thinking the temperature is different all over your incubator. Did you take temperature readings all over the incubator or just under the heating unit? I have had little giant incubators and I have to watch them like a hawk. I don't know what you have but some incubators have cold spots in them.

Could someone have unplugged your incubator and then plugged it back in without telling you?

perhaps my wife has unplugged it , she didn't want any ducks

I have a small cheap incubator perhaps that's why , my daughter will be gutted if she knew they wont make it. I might have to go and buy some ducklings somewhere and tell her they hatched during the night
