Hello
Thought I might ask here, I have 8 hen mixed breeds. Some are sliver laced Wyandotte when ever one of the other hens go to lay a egg in any of the nesting boxes the SLW will stand outside and start alerting which triggers the other SLW to alert. It can become very noisy when all four of them are at it
.
Any ideas why they are doing this? Only the SLW display this behaviour and they are not at the top of the pecking order either.
