I’ll do my best to be brief! I’ve had chickens in my backyard without incidence since the 1970s. But they have always roamed free in the horse pasture during the daytime. We have moved into the city limits now & have built a chicken coop and run. The chicken coop roost area is 8‘ x 5‘. The run is 14 1/2‘ x 8‘. I only have three hens. They are about two years old. In recent days my olive Egger has become very aggressive towards my salmon faverolle—to the point that I am concerned about safety. My third hen is a golden lace Wyandotte. She is not involved. The faverolle is very docile and does her best to just be submissive when continually attacked. I was hoping to raise 3 more chicks soon to add to my flock. 6 is my limit here in town. But I don’t want to do anything until I’ve solve this issue. Any suggestions would be helpful.
