Hen all alone

We processed 2 chickens today, out of my flock of now 9. Tonight I noticed one of my hens not purching with the rest, realizing we took her 2 bunk mates. She was wandering around looking fur her pals and is now laying alone. Anything I can do to help the situation? First time chicken mom. Any help is appreciated!!

I know it's sad when that happens. My first flock, I sold half of them, then saw a pullet sitting all by herself where there were usually a pair of them. They seem to stay with or close to the flock, if only for safety at least. Hopefully your will blend in with the remainder of the flock and start perching closer to them soon.

I agree with other comments, She will take a few days for her to figure things out but she will be fine and she’ll fit back in
