Hen ate a dime and many rocks, need advice.

Could also be someone who works at the clinic came across an old x-ray they thought was crazy and took a pic on 12/31/18, and then posted on BYC.

You have me clutching my pearls!

Hi guys, thank you for all of your comments/thoughts. Vet didnt think those were nails, so not going to even go down that road. Update on our money eating hen, today we got an egg!! she has been pooping, starting eating and drinking without my help. She actually seems to like coming into the house. We currently have a portable coop in the garage, so she is warm and safe but she likes to come in and play with our son and hang out. Believe it or not she seems to like pooping in my house more than the coop, so far she hasn't ruined anything and we are on clean up duty. Her crop feels like most of the rocks have passed down, which is good, probably how we got an egg this morning. Of course my dear husband thinks she is ready to go back down with her sisters but i am worried more rock eating would happen. Want to see consistent egg laying, regular pooping and eating more. I am going to take her back to the vet next week to get another xray, would like to see how things have moved. Will update you all soon. again, thank you! We also weighed her a day ago, she was at 3.5 pounds, very skinny. Will keep weighing, want to make sure she gets some weight back on her too. Who knows, she might become our house chicken, although i need to learn how to use a chicken diaper!!!

Ok. Most important thing here. Get the vet to fix their dates on their X-Rays. ;)
