Hen attacked by dog day and a half ago

I would take her to a vet. To make sure that puncture wound does not get infected. She may need antibiotics.

It sounds like there’s more injury then just a puncture wound. I would be very concerned due to the fact you stated her breathing sounds bubbly.

I hope your sweet hen gets better soon. Get it to a vet she sounds like she’s in pain. A vet will also be able to give her something for the pain.

I believe it was on Wednesday (might have been Tuesday) this week that my hen decided on her own she was ready to return to the flock. She seems to be doing great now. She isn't back to laying, but I am happy she is well enough to be with the others.
