one of my small hens was attacked by other hens, all feathers on head and neck almost gone and damage to head her eyes seem alright. she will not eat or drink on her on. have been feeding her buttermilk, yogurt, small amounts of cooked oatmeal and olive oil with a tube for nine days. she seems to be a little better but will not eat or drink on her own, she shakes her head some and is having problem with balance. any advice would be helpful.

I recommend that you seperate her for now and visually inspect her for lice or mites. Ear mites can cause balance issues. Check her vent area as well for parasites. Mites can cause anemia, making her weak to the point that she wont eat, opening the door for all types of diseases. She also couldve been pecked on her head very hard by the others that it hurts badly...causing her to shake her head, possible internal head/neck injury. I would stop tube feeding her the yogurt and olive oil. Continue with cooked oatmeal every other day. Continue daily with buttermilk mixed with scrambled egg and layer crumbles.
If she indeed has lice or mites, please read this link...it'll tell you what to look for and how to treat.
