Hello everyone.
Two days ago, a dog broke into our run and killed one of our hens and their bunny friend. Another hen appeared fine at first, but then yesterday, she was laying in the shade panting. I gave her a very thorough look over, and do not see any wounds. I assumed it might be stress + heat, so I moved her indoors to a quarantine box. As of this morning, she is still open mouth breathing, at a normal rate, and squinting her eyes. Is this a sign of internal bleeding? What would you recommend as next steps?
