Hen attacks her chicks?

I hope she will! If she doesn't, do you think there's any way I can reintroduce them after a couple of days?

As long as she is broody their is the possibility. We are missing something as to why she is not taking that chick. I have had stressed hens reject. I have also had chickens reject chicks that produced odd peeping sounds.

Stressed hens were either in questionable health handled too much during the incubation cycle. Another possibility is current hen on nest is not the same that started the incubation effort. I have very aggressive hens displace a subordinate from nesting site so former could brood. The eggs from previous hen hatched too early in latter hens incubation cycle resulting hen attacking the first hatched chicks.
