Hen behavior

I have a year old EE hen and she always tries to burrow under whichever hen is right next to her. Why? She’s the only one who does that.

I don’t have an answer so much as one or 2 that do that as well. My buff orp will also lay on them without being asked!

One of my EE's used to do that to her sister, until she was about a year old. Then she seems to have outgrown it. I always figured it was comforting to her, like being under a momma hen. Just my guess.
