If it pops back out again smear it with some prep h before you push it back in. If you don't have any prep h on hand and can't get some you can smear it with some vaseline and sprinkle (heavily) regular white sugar on it. Sugar will draw the tissue in, not sure why it works, but it does. Good luck with her.

We had this same issue and prep H is fantastic!! Just makes things easier on your chicken! Keep her in the dark for a couple days so she hopefully will not lay and allow for the vent to heal. I’m far from an expert but this worked for my little girl.
