Hen can’t close her beak

Im not sure but I have seen people carefully use glue to fix fractured beaks.

Do you see any cracks in it?

It looks like she has to much mud in her mouth and it might be hard for her to breath. I have chickens that do that all the time. I have 62 chickens total so I know alot about chickens. It looks like she needs water to flush it out of her mouth and throat.
I am so gonna have more than 62 chickens in about a year I hope!

I don’t see any, thinking more like dislocation because my daughters and husband noticed the chickens pecking at a tree and trying to climb it

How is you hen doing today? You can learn how to tube feed temporarily until you can see a vet about her beak. A 15 inch or so length of aquarium air tubing, avalaible at Walmart in the fish and pet aisle, can be connected to a large syringe to use for crop feeding. Melt one end slightly to soften sharp edges so that it doesn’t cut or irritate the throat. Fluids, yogurt and watery finely ground feed or KayTee baby bird feed are usually good for feeding. Here is some info about tube feeding:

Still unable to close her beak but is able to eat and drink. We have her segregated for now and will see how she does for the next few days
