Hen cant walk up date. Need to put her down. how?

I need to put the hen down that has rickets. She get so tired trying to get around. The treatments have not worked and she is loosing weight. I don't want her to suffer so I think I will need to cull her. I'm not sure how I should do it? Do I hold her and then break her neck or is there an easier way to end her suffering?

i have never had to do this but that seemes like a quick way if you do it right
