hen can't walk

I went out to the coop and found this hen laying around. When frightened she attempts to walk with her belly on the ground and uses her wings for balance. I separated her and have food and water because I suspect she hasn't ate or drank much. She went for the food but is reluctant to drink. She is normally very skittish but today she lay and let me check her over.

its never happened to me, but I know is possible.

huh. I thought if she did break an eg there would be stuff all over.....its strange how shes acting.......

I am having the exact same problem with one of my silkies. One morning I went out and she couldn't walk, she is however fine with eating and drinking.
She has been getting slightly better though and is now able to shuffle around using her wings!
I have no idea what has happened to her, we thought she had ruptured something when laying an egg but really it's her legs that seem to be the problem.
Please help!!!

Well, this has never happened to me, but I do know that leg paralysis is sometimes a symptom of marek's...

Yeah I just Googled Mareks but her legs aren't paralised she can still move them a tiny bit and also Marek's is supposed to be highly contagious so where would she have gotten it and why is she the only one with the problem?
