Hen caught a mouse today.

Our cat caught a mouse yesterday and left half of it in the yard. I didn't see it until the chickens were playing chase. Disgusting and hilarious all at once. One of the EEs ended up gulping the whole thing down.

Yeah they love those meal worms. They get pricey though.... That's why I'm raising my own. All they eat is veggie scraps and a handful a day to the hens help with their natural protein levels. (Seasonally these fall in the winter.)
