Hen chick crowing??

looks like a pullet to me too. at 14 weeks id expect the comb to be much redder, with larger wattles and comb.

We have 2 14 week old barred rock chicks that are also crowing and I believe they are hens. I've read that hens can crow also, especially if there is no rooster.

sometimes if you dont have a roo in with your hens a hen will take over crowing

Do you have any pictures? Hatcheries can only guarantee a 90% accuracy on sexed chicks so accidental boys do happen.

The picture is super blurry, but that's a cockerel. You can see his big red comb and that dark red color pattern is typically male specific.
