If one of the chickens seems sneezy check to see if there is a "rattling" sound when she breathes and if she has discharge around her nostrils. I just picked up some chickens last weekend and one of them seemed to be a little stuffy. The lady I bought them from suggested putting them all on aureomycin for 10 days just to be safe. I have all of the new ones on it and they all seem to be doing well. You could also search for respirary problems to get some other ideas. Looks like you have caught the addiction!

You probably camped at the Pine Lake Campground. It's beautiful up here. We moved up here - well it will be 5 years at the end of November. I can't IMAGINE living anywhere else anymore. Where do you live now?

I am in Lake Mills--just East of Madison. We had the best times up there...went for several weeks every summer. Loved to catch the crawfish out of the river (Wolf) and then all us kids would boil them in a coffee can on the campfire! MMMM--poor man's lobster! Terri

(PS) I would definitely put the chickens on some antibiotics. It is said that Tylan50 is really good for respiratory stuff. Do a bit of research on here...the only thing I might have done differently is to keep birds that have not been together separate for a period of quarantine to make sure none is sick. Too late for that now though so you have to go with the next best thing...find out what the sneezy one has and treat them all!
