Hen dead after coop door left open overnight, but no signs of attack?

Sometimes they just check out for no apparent reason. I've lost a couple in the past several months to what appeared to be a heart attack or stroke. Video below shows my Buff Orpington...she was acting perfectly normal leading up to this, extremely healthy and active, and then bam. You'll see her shake her head a couple times (I'm thinking aneurysm) and then a couple seconds later she's gone. I'm glad I got the video because I know she didn't suffer.

edited to add...sorry for your loss...always tough to lose a bird, but especially when you don't know the cause.

"But now I have two black laced wyandotes and only one buff Cochin"I have never heard of a black laced wyandottes.dont worry,as long as she makes friends with the other two,she will be fine.and if you can, make sure to spend some extra time with her.

I think I meant silver laced wyandottes.
