Are they turned out during the day ,if so what type of plants do you have blooming. I had mole plants growing one year and lost several.Thats castor beans.

They aren't let out every day but they are let out regularly. There aren't any plants in their pen.

Is your feed old or has it gotten wet and moldy? This can cause the greens and unchecked ...death in fowl .

We just bought a new bag of feed 2 days ago. So, no the food doesn't smell wet or isn't clumped up and it's new. It is still good and is not spoiled. We decided to give them sulmet because we had talked to a very experienced chicken raiser and he said that maybe they had coccidiosis and that we should try sulmet or terramycin. We picked sulmet because it treats coccidiosis and cholera. But we still don't know if we should continue with sulmet or stop completely. And we don't know what our flock could have.

Thanks, I think we will continue with the sulmet, but I wish I knew what was wrong with the flock. That would probably help a lot.
