I was going to ask about the feed next. There are a few posts I've read in the last couple of days about bad feed. Could this be your problem? What made you decide to treat with sulmet?

We just bought a new bag of feed 2 days ago. So, no the food doesn't smell wet or isn't clumped up and it's new. It is still good and is not spoiled. We decided to give them sulmet because we had talked to a very experienced chicken raiser and he said that maybe they had coccidiosis and that we should try sulmet or terramycin. We picked sulmet because it treats coccidiosis and cholera. But we still don't know if we should continue with sulmet or stop completely. And we don't know what our flock could have.

can you take Night's remains to the state vet?

so sorry about your loss. atleast this will bump you.

Thanks, I think we will continue with the sulmet, but I wish I knew what was wrong with the flock. That would probably help a lot.
