Hen died

Had a hen die all of the sudden. Not signs of anything. Found her laying in the hen house, her comb was little faded in color, picked her up & she couldn’t hold her head up & then she started trying to flop around but I just held her & then just died.

I looked all over herbut didn’t see any signs of trauma. Any ideas??

Without more to go on than what you've said, I'd have to take a wild guess and say she was poisoned.

How old? Birds get sick for many reasons, and only a necropsy will answer this question, unless she has obvious wounds.
