I have a bantam silkie x cochin who is suddenly not feeling good at all. When my kids went to let the flock out to forage, she was very slow coming to the door and then almost fell over when she came down the steps. She just stood there, kind of wobbling. She's alert and I don't see any signs of illness. We've separated her. She's the top hen in the pecking order, but seems thin to me, now that I feel her keel. She ate most of a little portion of mush that I mixed up for her. They're eating organic whole grain feed - grower mixed with layer (I have a lot of broodies regrowing feathers) and they have free access to calcium carbonate and grit. They've been on this feed for almost a year. Sometimes I ferment it, but have not lately. She was broody recently and we broke her with a stay in the indoor broody jail. She just pooped a very watery poop. Pic of poop has other things that are not related. There's Cayenne pepper and compost under and next to the poop. The black and red are not hers.
