I close my Human big door and its locked with a eye hook latch.I close my little hen door. But what I DID DO to all the doors and windows is buy kitchen cabinet magnet locks..It takes a few pounds of pressure to pull them open....It works well.. I also have heavy gauge quarter inch square metal (like chicken wire)on my windows so the girls can get air but critters cant get in... My coops pen is 5 ft chain link.It sits in the middle of my yard so any predictors have to get in and over one main fence and then there pen fence too. My dogs run around 3 sides of the hen house...We haven't had a issue with raccoons around us but we do with stray cats sometimes at night when the dogs are in...Im always reevaluating/adjusting my girls coop trying to improve things for them and me..
