Hen eating eggs

So I just caught my hen cracking an egg and eating it. The other hens are chasing her now? What do I do?!!

How old is the culprit? It sometimes happens and maybe a "accident" but it's a hard to habit to break. What are you feeding? Sometimes it's due to them needing more protein which the eggs are. Usually roll out nest boxes work the best, or remove that one from the flock. She may get the rest tasting eggs.

She is about 2. One other chicken wasn’t let her lay so I sat with her for a few age laid and walked away with no issue so I’m thinking maybe she was mad?! But I am looking into some extra protein now. Thank you so much
