hen eating only her yolk...???

i have a RIR that will lay an egg then crack into it and eat only the yolk.
what is her deal???

anyone else have this issue?

Boss Lady is a banty who I watched drop an egg on our lawn. She and Goldilocks, her same breed pal, than cracked it competitively and started eating. They are young and have never had babies hatch.
