hen finally laying, but bare butt

My SS is finally laying

but I noticed this morning that she has a bare butt/vent area.

It's not that red, but I'm concerned. None of my other hens (four) have a bare butt. They're all about 7 months old.

Any suggestions/thoughts? Thanks!

I have had one do this .. She tried to go broody but then backed out..

Keep an eye out still for mites if you notice any feathers with lil white balls at the end or look like feathers have broken off, then dust them as they may have mites.. But like I said my girl was just playing with going Broody..Good Luck

Oh I will - I picked up some mite powder yesterday just in case!
