It's been getting worse and worse these past few weeks. Originally I thought she was egg bound, and gave her a bath, but it did no good (and egg binding doesn't survive this long). I thought it was egg peritonitis, and maybe it is, but my treating it isn't doing any good.
This is a video of her doing her gasping thing. It's silent, not like she's gasping for air, and it becomes aggravated when she's picked up/handled.
Her abdomen is severely swollen (it's making her walk with her hips far apart), and she's been getting progressively weaker (though she's still interested in food and will come when called).
Does ANYBODY know what this is? I'm so tired of my chickens dying and not being able to figure out why.
