Hen Gleet

Hello new to the site, and kinda new to chickens.

I believe I am dealing with some hen gleet and have researched the multiple recommendations for remedies online. I don't believe this is the first time one of my hens has had symptoms similar to gleet, but this is the first time I am dealing with it.

I had one question about the bathing of the hen. Would it be a good idea to use a shampoo that has zinc pyrithione in it (Head and Shoulders)? it seems the zinc pyrithione properties would be beneficial?

Thank you, I have already read that one and got a good grip on what needs to be done. However, most people recommend using dish detergent or Epsom salt to soak the feathers before removing the feces. I thought using an anti fungal / bacterial type of shampoo could be beneficial.
