Day before yesterday night, my daughter forgot to close the gate, and some wild animal ( we assume wild cat ) entered and attacked a hen. We heard the sound, when we reached there soon, she was alive and, there was some blood on the ground. I couldn't find any major injury.
Today is the 2nd day after attack, she is sleeping all the day, and looks like she cannot move her neck ( neck is hanging down ). We are feeding a cocktail of turmeric and antibiotic, and she is able to swallow. Occasionally she opens her eyes, walk two or three steps, within 5 seconds fall back to sleep.
What could be the possible reason for she sleeping all day.
Have you faced this before? Please suggest your experience and advice on how to save her.
She is the favorite chick of my 10 year daughter. So trying our best to save the girl.
NB : While in sleep, today she laid an egg, but it was broken.
