I have seven chicken eggs of different breeds under my white leghorn hen. Three have hatched and I forgot to close off the nesting box so the chicks wouldn't run off and confuse the hen, therefore making her leave her remaining eggs. To make a long story short, the hen hopped off the eggs for the chicks, leaving the nest from anywhere to 1:30-3:00. The eggs are on about day 20. WILL THEY HATCH??? I touched the eggs before the hen got back on them and they were cold. I live in Houston and its summertime but it was a little chilly outside 85* in the sun (they were in the shade) and after I put the hen back on the eggs it started raining. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? the eggs are warm and dry now. I don't know what to expect.

Forgot to mention that the hen got back on the eggs and has her three chicks with her. The nesting box is blocked off so they can't escape again

They should be just fine...I'm sure they will hatch...:frow
I had a 13 hour power outage and all my eggs are still great in my incubator...
Place feed and water close to the hen so the chicks can eat and drink while Momma continues to hatch more....
