I have a gamefowl hen that's got about 14 eggs she stayed on the nest all day and got off last night I took the rooster out of the pen. And today she's all puff up on the ground clucking and has not returned to the nest when will she go setting and go fully broody

Every hen is different, so it's unfortunately unpredictable.

It takes about a week for a hen to go fully broody from the time she first starts showing signs. I've found from experience that a hen will start sitting on eggs in earnest as soon as she lays her final egg and not before.

So, if your hen still has that final egg yet to lay, she won't be interested in staying on the eggs. Don't worry. They will wait for her. Be patient. I would bet she will return soon and stick.
