Hen has a broken Toe ~ Help needed

Kathy has quite a few threads about "off label" medications. @granny hatchet is correct, fish antibiotics can be used. Fish Mox is amoxicillin. You do need to order it online. I've found it on ebay. You can also get it from various pet/livestock suppliers online. Hope that helps:)

Thanks Wyorp, I'm going to check if our local pet supply store carries it today. If not I will order it online.

Updated pictures of my hens broken toe. I soaked it repeatedly, debrided the dried tissue around the joint & tried squeezing the swollen area to see if anything would ooze out of the newly cleaned area. Other than it bleeding a tiny bit, nothing oozed out. The swollen area does not feel squishy, It's just hard.
Picture #1 ~ Is of the foot just after I removed the old dressing. The swollen area was off-white versus red looking like the first day.

Picture #2 ~ Is of the exposed toe joint before debriding.

Picture #3 ~ Is of the exposed toe joint area cleaned & debrided. I packed the area around the joint with triple antibiotic ointment, placed a nonstick pad on it & then wrapped with vet wrap.

I'm just not certain what I can additionally do for her other than cleaning it & re-dressing it until it heals. I've got Fish Mox ordered, but would feel more comfortable about using it if I was seeing oozing coming from the wound. I'm just not certain how much of the swelling is due to the trauma or if it's infected.
