Hen has a broken Toe ~ Help needed

well.. Looks like the bone isnt even connected to the lower joint.

Nope it was totally broken off. I have no idea what she did to injury it like this.

It does look pretty good. Time will tell, but it's possible she may lose the toe. Of course seeing a vet is the best option, they would probably remove it for you. She will learn to navigate without it.

I understand everyone has their own opinion/feelings about using antibiotics. Personally, if she were mine, I would adminster the antibiotics to help fight infection since there is exposed bone.

Thanks Hun, I'm sure she will lose the toe too. I'm just hoping it's in a timely manner as I hate to see her suffer. I will use the antibiotic to ward off infection in it. I appreciate you sharing your insight
