Nope it was totally broken off. I have no idea what she did to injury it like this.well.. Looks like the bone isnt even connected to the lower joint.

Thanks Hun, I'm sure she will lose the toe too. I'm just hoping it's in a timely manner as I hate to see her suffer. I will use the antibiotic to ward off infection in it. I appreciate you sharing your insightIt does look pretty good. Time will tell, but it's possible she may lose the toe. Of course seeing a vet is the best option, they would probably remove it for you. She will learn to navigate without it.
I understand everyone has their own opinion/feelings about using antibiotics. Personally, if she were mine, I would adminster the antibiotics to help fight infection since there is exposed bone.
