Hen has diarrhea

Ok. This morning nothing's changed. I'm taking her to a vet . He's an avian vet. I will let everyone know what he does. She is breathing a little funny when I massage her crop now. Hopefully he can fix her.

Ok....lots of money later...but worth it. She has an intestinal issue. She has blockage. The vet took an x-ray and it showed that. Her heart , breathing and everything else looks great. I have to give her the liquid laxative 3 x a day with water for 5 days. This should clear her out. I have to say this syringe thing he gave me is really hard to do. It takes 2 people! It's hard to put that tube down her throat. Good grief ! Thanks for being there for me can you tell I'm a first time chicken owner

Well, that does not sound too bad and hopefully she will perk up after your administrations.

If you wrap her in a towel for the tubing it will be easier to handle her.
